You must have read my mind or vice versa. 12 weeks to Xmas. I’m forcing myself to be organised about baking this year by providing my readers with twelve weeks of baking ideas, starting on Wednesday. I’m hoping this will snowball the rest of my Xmas organisation & planning.

At least you’re already thinking about it Bec, which means you’re in front of most people. I’m toying with the idea of some craft making as well but I’m realistic that these things don’t come easily to me.

My daughter’s birthday is the week before Xmas so makes for a crazy week of festivities. We’ve agreed to hold her party at the start of the month this year to give us some breathing space.

Like most things, the best place to start is just to start doing something (and accept your sister’s offer for her to host Xmas lunch this year!)

You are so much more prepared then I am. Every year I think “I am going to do better, and do the shopping during the year”. That year comes and goes and I am still have no gifts organised! I have not even thought about xmas this year! I so wish that I was organised. Now that we live in a Motorhome, and we are not even sure where xmas will be, I really need to think about what to do for gifts. Our decorations are in storage – maybe we can visit the big stores and admire their decorations!

Love the idea of the 100 days until Christmas book.

I find the baby led weaning idea weird, no cause you shouldn’t do it, but because it has a name. This is how we did solids with Janelle, Travis and River, it wasn’t until 2008, when Travis was 9 months old or so, that I found out it had a name, it just seemed natural.

(nothing is natural with Kincaid…he spent that first year and a half having uncontrolled seizures, so that kinda screwed up everything else. It’s still screwing up things and he hasn’t had a seizure in 5 years and has been off medications for 4.)
